It was a moment of tremendous glory and joy, as Mahindra's 6675F Orchard Tractor won the Tractor of the Year Award at Agrishow, the biggest and most important agricultural technology trade show in the country

Agrishow, held in Ribeirao Preto, Sau Paulo, Brazil, had the entire spectrum of agricultural players, from tractor brands, machinery, technology, crop producers, customers to agricultural government officials in attendance. The Mahindra Brazil (MAgBRA) team participated in this show with its wide range of tractors from 24 HP to 110 HP

At the event, there were multiple product competitions and MAgBRA participated in the Special Tractors (specific application) category with the 6675F model. The award was sponsored by Trelleborg & Agriworld Magazine, while the Evaluation Committee consisted of Agriculture Machines Specialists (PhD, Masters) from recognised universities like UNESP, Federal University of Ceara State, Federal University of Santa Maria (Rio Grande do Sul State). The committee evaluated the participating tractors on product features like Transmission, Engine, Embedded Electronics, Mechanical Technological Innovations, Maintainability, Safety, Operator Station, Fitted to Use, Design, Service and Service Network. There were 11 participants in total for this award, and Mahindra got into the Top 3 with New Holland T3-75F and Valtra A93F tractors

Mahindra's winning tractor, 6675F (75 HP), belongs to the ArmaTrac product portfolio, and is ideal for orchard fruit and apple growers. This model is powered by a Perkins 1104D-44T engine, has 16 forward gears and 8 reverse gears, a 3-point hydraulic system with excellent lifting capacity (2,800 kg) and a remote control with 2 double- acting valves with a flow of 48.5 l/min

The win was even more special as Mahindra was pitted against some of the most established players in the market
