As we hustle through another exciting new financial year, I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for your continued dedication, perseverance and ambition. The past year has been one of both challenges and triumphs. We’ve witnessed a dynamic agricultural landscape, with evolving customer needs and a renewed focus on technological advancements. Through it all, your unwavering resolve to excel has ensured that Mahindra continues to grow as the leading force in the global tractor industry.

Our commitment to innovation remains at the forefront. We are continuously pushing boundaries in tractor technology, developing solutions that address the specific needs of farmers, big and small. Mahindra OJA, launched in South Africa is set to transform agriculture worldwide. The intent with each new innovation is to empower farmers to work smarter, not harder. Wherever there are gaps in the market, we are providing solutions that will ensure flourishing farmlands and happy farmers. In Kenya, we launched our powerful 6075 model, and in Bangladesh, the 555 SP+, a 54 HP tractor. From disruptive launches to earning the Malawi government’s trust in boosting regional productivity, we are winning big. Even in Brazil, our presence and position are only getting stronger; and I am happy to share that we have outperformed the industry benchmark. Parallelly, consistent and persuasive engagement through exciting and rewarding on ground activities is showing improved results in the Bangladesh and Nepal markets, both for Mahindra and Swaraj. In Nepal, the strategic diversification of tractor usage to a different sector promises favourable outcome. Let us further deepen our impact in these regions. In Tanzania, our robust Swaraj tractors are making a meaningful difference for the cotton farmers, and in turn positively affecting the country’s agricultural landscape.

Looking ahead, we have to stay on top of our game and seize the wealth of opportunities the agricultural sector presents us with. The growing demand for sustainable farming practices, coupled with initiatives by various governments to empower farmers, creates an environment ripe for growth. Our success in this scenario hinges on the collaborative spirit and collective expertise of each and every one – from our passionate engineers to our resourceful distributors spread across the world. Our Relentless efforts in connecting with farmers, understanding their requirements and delivering exceptional customer service are the backbone of Mahindra’s reputation. We’ve done well as a cohesive team over the years, and are well-positioned to capitalise on this momentum.
