Innovation is Mitsubishi’s lifeblood, and the 2024 Invention Awards honoured the brilliant minds behind some of most ground-breaking ideas.

The annual Invention Awards ceremony, a cornerstone of the company’s commitment to Intellectual Property, recognised and rewarded the most original and impactful ideas that emerged during 2023-24. This year, 6 exceptional ideas stood out, earning the prestigious Excellent Patent Proposal Award.

Mr. Gyogi (Director, Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery), who presided over the ceremony, inspired the entire Technical Centre team with his words, "For the sake of our customers, I believe there are many areas we can explore that remain untouched by others. Your daily tasks are more than just work; they are opportunities to secure patents that drive our innovation forward. Challenge me with your ideas; I want to see proposals that make me think twice. From the Single Brake Hand-Operated Switch Structure to the Overall Design of the Rice Transplanter Bonnet, these inventions will enhance Mitsubishi’s technological capabilities and competitive edge.
