On 14th May, Mahindra took a major step forward with the approval of its preliminary environmental license for a new manufacturing facility in Dois Irmãos, RS. The milestone marks the beginning of an ambitious expansion plan that will triple both production capacity and workforce in Brazil.

The new plant, spread across 89,000+ sq. m., with an initial build area of 38,568 sq. m., is designed to scale Mahindra’s annual output from 3,000 to 9,000 tractors. An additional 24,000 sq. m. is reserved for future growth, laying the foundation for long-term impact.

As Mahindra deepens its roots in Brazil, this new chapter stands as proof of its confidence in the land, the people and the potential ahead.
