Raising the bar for precision crop research with the new Sampo Rosenlew C2
In February, Sampo Rosenlew marked a new chapter in precision agriculture with the launch of the Sampo Rosenlew C2, which is a next-generation plot combine designed for crop research. Held at the Sampo factory, the event brought together customers and dealers from 11 countries, all eager to witness the latest innovation in action.
For over 5 decades, Sampo has been a trusted name in research combines, with industry giants like Monsanto, Syngenta, BASF and KWS relying on its machines. Now, the C2 takes things further, featuring the modern AVARA cab, known for its cutting-edge ergonomics, a larger grain tank with faster unloading, and a powerful Yanmar 4-cylinder, 130 HP engine that meets TIER 5 and EPA standards. Every upgrade is a direct response to customer needs, reinforcing Sampo’s legacy in this specialised field.
Mr. Jagan Kurian (CEO, Sampo Rosenlew) opened the event, followed by an insightful presentation from Mr. Sami Seppälä (Sales Director, Sampo Roasenlew). Ultimately, it was the C2 that stole the show, unveiled by Mr. Kim Döfnäs (Sales Director, Sampo Rosenlew) and Mr. Juho Ryyppö (Project Lead, Sampo Rosenlew).
With Europe and the USA as key markets, the next step is integrating HarvestMaster’s advanced weighing system, thereby setting a new benchmark in crop research technology.
Sampo Rosenlew is shaping the future of crop science, one breakthrough at a time.
